I'm trying to find uses for plastic in my work."The Great Escape" is an example of this where I use a plastic strainer, plastic beads, tops from coffee creamers,wire and broken plastic food containers to form a backdrop for a flying figure. All of this in a backdrop of water colored circles and a candy box form. Since plastic lasts 500 years, this piece is archival.
